The nominee is the person registered with Argentina's electoral authorities as the presidential candidate of the Justicialist Party (Partido Justicialista), or of an electoral alliance that includes it, whether chosen in a primary (PASO) or otherwise. A ticket that does not include the Justicialist Party does not count. If more than one ticket includes the Justicialist Party, only the one the party officially endorses counts.
