Description from Kalshi. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.

The Student Steel Bridge Competition challenges college teams to design and fabricate a steel bridge, assemble it under timed conditions, and undergo load testing. The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) organizes the National Finals in collaboration with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). This market concerns the Overall Performance national title. Regional championships, individual category awards, and special awards do not count as winning this title. Under the 2027 rules, the lowest combined construction cost, structural cost, and applicable fines wins overall; aesthetics breaks ties. The official National Finals results determine the winner. Schools must satisfy the competition's eligibility and qualification requirements. Ordinary advancement is through regional results; AISC and ASCE may authorize replacements or additional invitations. Regional guest status alone does not establish National Finals eligibility. Kalshi is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the American Institute of Steel Construction or the American Society of Civil Engineers.
