Cloud9 vs Sentinels

This is a Valorant best-of-three match between Cloud9 and Sentinels in the VCT Americas Stage 2 2026 Group Stage. The markets span the full match winner (listed on Polymarket and Kalshi) and the Map 2 winner (Kalshi). Notably, the snapshot was captured mid-match — with Sentinels leading Cloud9 1–0 and the match still live as of July 16 — which almost certainly accounts for the current probability distribution. Cloud9's active roster includes Zellsis, FireBallOps, v1c, OXY, and Jackk, while Sentinels field Marved, JonahP, cortezia, Reduxx, and Jerrwin. The v1c return is notable context: Victor "v1c" Truong was reinstated to Cloud9's Valorant roster, with the confirmation coming on July 10, 2026, less than a week before VCT Americas Stage 2 kicked off. Cloud9 had recorded a 6th-place finish in the 2026 Americas Kickoff event, and his return was aimed at improving upon that modest performance heading into Stage 2. On the full-match market, Kalshi prices Cloud9 at 60.0% despite Sentinels holding a 1–0 map lead — a figure that Limitless rounds to a flat 50.0%, creating a notable 10-point cross-platform spread. Kalshi's Map 2 market leans Sentinels at 57.0% versus Cloud9 at 48.0%, while Polymarket's match-winner odds flip the narrative, placing Sentinels at 66.6% against Cloud9 at 33.5%. The divergence between Kalshi's match-winner line and Polymarket's suggests meaningful disagreement across platforms about Cloud9's comeback potential from a map deficit, making this one of the wider spreads in the event.
