Description from Kalshi. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.

The United Opposition is Kenya's opposition coalition of the Wiper Patriotic Front, Democracy for Citizens, Jubilee, People's Liberation, Democratic and DAP-K parties, including under any new name or registered coalition vehicle (such as the United Alternative Government or The Ukombozi Alliance, formerly Azimio la Umoja). A person is named when at least four of these six parties have each publicly announced or adopted that person, together or separately, as the coalition's single presidential candidate, directly or through such a vehicle. If the coalition replaces its candidate before the deadline, the last person named this way counts. A party's own nomination, an opinion poll or vote, or individual leaders' endorsements do not count, and a party leaving or naming its own candidate does not stop the others' announcement from counting. If no person is named this way by the deadline, every market resolves No. Dates are East Africa Time. This market is eligible for accelerated resolution by a consensus of media calls. See full rules for details.
