Description from Kalshi. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.
The winner is the list or party that wins the most seats on the Madrid City Council. A list counts for a party if it is registered under that party's name, or is a coalition or federation formally registered with the electoral authorities before the nomination deadline that includes it (for example, a Más Madrid list that includes Greens Equo); a renamed list counts for the party it succeeds. If one registered list includes more than one of PP, Más Madrid, PSOE and Vox, it counts only for the first of them in that order. Seats are allocated by the D'Hondt method, and there are no overhang, levelling or appointed seats. If two parties tie in seats, the one with the higher share of the valid votes cast in the Madrid municipal election resolves to Yes and all others to No. This market is eligible for accelerated resolution by a consensus of media calls.
