Description from Polymarket. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.

This market will resolve according to the conference with the most teams selected to the 2027 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament field, as announced on Selection Sunday, scheduled for March 14, 2027. Every team selected to the field counts, including automatic qualifiers and teams placed in the opening round. A team's conference is the Division I conference it is a member of for the 2026-27 season. If two or more conferences are tied for the most teams selected, this market will resolve to the tied conference with the team ranked highest in the most recent AP Top 25 men's college basketball poll released before the tournament field announcement. If none of the tied conferences has a team ranked in that poll, or their highest-ranked teams share the same ranking, this market will resolve to "Other". If the 2027 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament field is not announced by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, for any reason, including the cancellation of the tournament, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA (https://www.ncaa.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tiebreaker will use the AP Top 25 poll (https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-basketball-poll).
