Description from Kalshi. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.
The sale, transfer, or divestiture of an ownership stake (whether controlling or minority) in an NFL team is deemed to occur upon the first formal, official public announcement of the action by its ownership, the Governing League, or any of the Source Agencies. In order to be eligible for resolution, the announcement must report the action as confirmed and finalized (not merely rumored or under negotiation), regardless of whether the transaction has yet closed or received all the requisite approvals. If no NFL team sells, transfers, or divests an ownership stake in their team (whether controlling or minority) after Issuance and before Jul 1, 2027, then the market titled "No Team" resolves to Yes. If multiple teams announce simultaneously or such that no clear first-mover can be determined by the Source Agencies, each tied team’s market will resolve at 1 / N, where N is the number of tied teams. Kalshi is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the Governing League.
