Description from Polymarket. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.
This market will resolve to “Yes” if any swimmer sets a new short course (25m) world record in the listed event at the 2026 World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m), scheduled for December 1-6, 2026 in Beijing, China. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A time swum in any round of the listed individual event (heats, semi-finals, or final), or as the lead-off leg of a relay at these championships, will qualify if World Aquatics recognizes it as a new world record. Formal ratification is not required; official results or an official World Aquatics announcement that mark the time as a world record will suffice. Times swum at any other competition will not count. If the listed event is not held at the championships by December 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from World Aquatics; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
