Description from Kalshi. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.
This must be confirmed, verified, or established as factual by at least one Source Agency before Jan 1, 2028. A person is subpoenaed by a committee vote only if a committee or subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives, including a select committee, takes a recorded or voice vote that approves a subpoena to that person or authorizes the chair to issue one to that person. A subpoena for documents, testimony, or both qualifies. The vote counts when it is taken, even if the subpoena is signed, served, or complied with later or never. A single vote covering several people counts for each of them. The following do NOT count: A subpoena issued by a chair or other member without a committee or subcommittee vote A motion to subpoena that fails, is tabled, or is not put to a vote A vote held before Issuance A vote by a Senate committee A subpoena addressed only to a company, agency, or office without naming the person A court or grand jury subpoena A vote that delegates subpoena authority generally without naming the person A letter, request, or threat to subpoena, or a voluntary interview or deposition
