Description from Kalshi. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.
Impeached means the U.S. House of Representatives adopts at least one article of impeachment against the official in a floor vote. Committee votes, and resolutions that are tabled, referred or defeated, do not count. The first official is the one against whom the House first adopts an article of impeachment after Issuance. If a single vote impeaches more than one named official, the market will resolve to 1 / N where N is the number of named officials impeached by that vote. Only the six officials named in this event are compared, and no officials will be added to this event. The impeachment of an official who is not named in this event does not resolve any market, and the first named official the House impeaches afterwards is still the first official for this market. None of these resolves to Yes if, after Issuance and before Jan 1, 2028, the House does not impeach any of the six officials named in this event. It resolves to No as soon as the House impeaches one of them after Issuance. Only reporting from any of the Source Agencies qualifies for the purposes of this market. Reports that merely reference prior publications (from before Issuance) do not qualify. Republishing of content originally produced by other sources (e.g., wire services) only qualifies if the content is hosted on the outlet's official platform and the outlet is clearly identified as the publishing entity.
