Description from Polymarket. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if, between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, a qualifying body officially announces a ban or suspension of a Dota 2 player, coach, or team for match-fixing, match manipulation, or betting-related corruption. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". For the purposes of this market, a "qualifying body" is the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), Valve, Perfect World, or the organizer of a Dota 2 tournament listed as Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 on Liquipedia at the time of the announcement. Provisional suspensions qualify. Bans or suspensions for other reasons alone, such as cheating software, account sharing, toxic behavior, or unspecified "competitive integrity" reasons that are not described as match-fixing, match manipulation, or betting-related, will not qualify. A new sanction announced within this market's timeframe qualifies, including a final ruling in a case opened before market creation. Appeal decisions, reductions, or restatements of sanctions that were first announced before market creation will not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be official statements from the qualifying body; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
