Description from Kalshi. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.

If Haley Stevens is removed from, or otherwise ceases to hold, any of her House committee or subcommittee assignments or her position as ranking member of the Research and Technology Subcommittee after Issuance and before Jan 3, 2027, then the market resolves to Yes. Losing a committee assignment refers to Haley Stevens ceasing to be a member of any House committee or subcommittee she sits on, or ceasing to be the ranking member of the Research and Technology Subcommittee, for any reason. This includes removal by the House, the House Democratic Caucus or party leadership, leaving the House Democratic Caucus, stepping down from the position, or leaving the House. The end of her House term on Jan 3, 2027 does NOT count. Only reporting from the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives or any other Source Agency qualifies for the purposes of this market. Reports that merely reference prior publications (from before Issuance) do not qualify. Republishing of content originally produced by other sources (e.g., wire services) only qualifies if the content is hosted on the outlet's official platform and the outlet is clearly identified as the publishing entity.
