Description from Kalshi. A cross-platform summary is generated once this event is matched across platforms.

If the California Attorney General and Paramount Skydance file a stipulated settlement or consent judgment resolving California's lawsuit over the Warner Bros. Discovery acquisition after Issuance and before Jun 4, 2027, then the market resolves to Yes. Only reporting from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California or the California Department of Justice qualifies for the purposes of this market. Reports that merely reference prior publications (from before Issuance) do not qualify. Republishing of content originally produced by other sources (e.g., wire services) only qualifies if the content is hosted on the outlet's official platform and the outlet is clearly identified as the publishing entity. A settlement means a stipulated dismissal, consent judgment or settlement agreement filed with the court in No. 4:26-cv-07116. The docket in No. 4:26-cv-07116 as reflected in the court's CM/ECF record constitutes reporting from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for the purposes of this market A filing resolving California's claims counts even if other plaintiff states continue to litigate. A settlement among other plaintiff states that does not include California does NOT count An agreement in principle, or a joint announcement with no filing, does NOT count A voluntary dismissal without any agreement does NOT count A court ruling or verdict, for either party, does NOT count If the acquisition is abandoned and the case is dismissed as moot without an agreement, this market resolves NO
