1. What BetCrypto is (and is not)

BetCrypto is an information and analytics service, operated by BC Data Ltd. (a company registered in Dublin, Ireland), that aggregates publicly available data from third-party prediction-market platforms and provides tools such as market discovery, price alerts, portfolio tracking, and a play-money paper-trading simulator.

BetCrypto is not a betting or gambling operator, broker, exchange, or financial adviser. We do not accept, place, or settle wagers, do not custody funds, and do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Any trades you place occur on third-party platforms subject to their own terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service and of any third-party platform is legal where you live. Prediction markets and online betting are restricted or prohibited in some jurisdictions; the Service is not an offer or solicitation where such activity is unlawful.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data except as expressly permitted, or circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Misrepresent your identity or use the Service to infringe the rights of others.

5. Paper trading

The paper-trading feature uses simulated funds with no monetary value. Nothing in it constitutes a real transaction, an offer, or a promise of returns, and simulated performance is not indicative of real results.

6. Third-party platforms and referral links

The Service links to third-party platforms, sometimes through referral or affiliate links from which we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party platforms, their content, odds, availability, or practices. Your dealings with them are solely between you and that platform.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. Prices and included features are shown at the point of purchase. Payments are processed on-chain via Bitcoin / Lightning through our payment processor. Because on-chain payments are generally irreversible, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Your access lasts for the period you paid for.

8. No warranty; data accuracy

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Market data is aggregated from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for any financial decision.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetCrypto and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BetCrypto and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory local law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
