Quotas are per account across all of its keys; keyless access is per IP address.

Keyless
30 requests/min · 1,000/day · up to 25 per pageDiscovery endpoints. Shared by everyone on your IP address and cached for 60 seconds — fine for an AI assistant looking something up.
Free key
30 requests/min · 2,000/day · up to 50 per pageDiscovery endpoints with live data and your own quota. Needs a free account with a verified email.
Premium key
60 requests/min · 50,000/day · up to 100 per pageEverything: every market of an event, price history, price gaps after fees, whale trades and resolution accuracy.

Premium is $25/month or $200/year and also includes every other Premium feature on BetCrypto.

Every response carries meta.access with your tier, limits and, below Premium, what upgrading adds. Remaining quota is in the X-RateLimit-* headers; a 429 carries Retry-After.

MCP server for AI assistants

Add BetCrypto to any MCP client that supports remote (Streamable HTTP) servers. The tools call the same API, under the same tiers and quota.

The header is optional: without it the discovery tools work keyless, and a Premium tool asks your MCP client to sign the person in (OAuth). Below Premium, Premium tools explain how to upgrade.

GET /me
Your tier, limits and key count.
GET /events
Search and list events — open ones by default — with the main market's outcomes. Filters: search, status, categories, platforms, tags; quotes=false and outcomes_limit make it compact.
GET /events/{slug}
One event: all its markets, and every venue's quote for the main market.
GET /categories
Categories with open-event counts.
GET /platforms
The venues we aggregate.
GET /news
Latest market briefs.
GET /news/{slug}
One brief in Markdown, with citations and the events it covers.

Any other market of an event (totals, spreads, props), or all of them.

How to read prices

  • All prices are between 0 and 1, i.e. implied probability. implied_probability on an outcome is the cross-venue consensus: the median midpoint among the liquid venues with a comparable quote.
  • best_buy_price and buy_price are what buying costs; best_buy_platform is the venue offering it.
  • Compare venues on mid_price, and only where comparable is true — a one-sided or very wide book has no view to compare.
  • venue_price is whatever the venue publishes (an ask on some, a midpoint on others). Never subtract one venue's from another's.
  • kickoff_at is when a game starts; ends_at is when trading closes, not when the question resolves.
  • Venue links go through a BetCrypto redirect that forwards to the venue. Hand them to people as they are.
